FOR ATTENTION OF KEY WORKERS 21.12.20

As you are aware, schools will be closed until 11thJanuary for all children except key worker children.

There are clear guidelines to what constitutes eligibility for a place at the Hub school.

If one parent/carer is a key worker and the other parent/carer is available to look after their child then the child should not attend the hub school. Should you wish to apply for a place at the hub school please note the following:

  1. Both parents/carers must be key workers
  2. Where both parents/carers are key workers, please provide the school, in writing, of shift patterns on the days you require the Hub school
  3. Please inform the school of the relevant job titles

Under no circumstances should children attend school without prior approval from the school.

Childcare Application - please email to HT headteacher@cardonald-pri.glasgow.sch.uk

15.12.20 - Christmas Holidays

If your child develops symptoms on or after Tuesday 22nd December, you will not be able to contact the school.  Instead, you will be contacted by the Test & Protect team who will discuss the details with you and ask for the information they need.  It is important if your child tests positive during the holidays and has to self-isolate beyond the school return date of 6th January that you contact the school directly as you would for any other absence.

Cardonald Primary School has been closed during the Spring Break and children of key workers from our school have been attending Lourdes Primary School since Monday 6th April. If your circumstances have changed and you think you may require care after the school break, please contact me using the following email: Headteacher@cardonald-pri.glasgow.sch.uk

Cardonald Primary School will remain closed after the Spring Break and children of key workers who require care will be attending another school in the area.

We will be introducing a new online resource next week which will allow for easier and more direct communication between staff, pupils and families as well as offer opportunities for online learning.
